Tim Coates needs no introduction for his unique blend of the freshest house sounds and for rocking clubs all over Thailand, his radio spot on UB radio and for his residency at Passion in KL. He holds nothing back when behind the decks with a full on assault of mind blowing house beats!
This will be the first time Emanuel and Tim have rocked the decks together in over 7yrs, expect a serious throw down of rocking tunes!
Tim Coates profile:
Tim started DJ’ing in the UK during the early 1990’s and has traveled extensively taking his love of house music to appreciative audiences across the globe.
Having played extensively throughout Australia & Asia, 2004 saw Tim make a permanent move to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Where he now resides. He quickly helped establish Passion as one of the leading clubs in KL, and over the next 4 years saw the club grow and collaborate with some of the best names in the business such as Café Del Mar, Club Risk, M’n’2’s and Ministry of Sound UK.
Since leaving Passion, Tim has performed regularly throughout the best clubs in the region. Basing himself in Bangkok for a while he made an immediate impact, playing at renowned venues such as Bed Supper Club, Flix & The Tunnel. During this time in Bangkok he commenced a bi-monthly show on Underground Bangkok Radio, and represented them behind the decks at many of their parties. He also DJ’s for many high profile events and club launches, and was selected as one of the Asia tour residents for the club night, ‘In Bed with Space’ Ibiza.
His understanding of the groove is what makes his sets unique, a house dj that draws influence from many genres, be it deep, tech, funky or minimal. His selections are guaranteed to be infectious tracks aimed directly at the dance floor, Tim is a dj who knows how to move and work the crowd, keeping true to his passion for quality underground house.
