His …strong desire to make and share great new music with the world drives him to the leading edge of the hottest trends in house music and ensures that his case is always full of the rarest new stuff from around the globe. Focusing on Tech House and highly influenced by Chicago House and Detroit Techno. Emanuel delivers a range of House that sounds funky, Latin, Techy, minimal, underground or even sometimes tough and jacking as he moves fluidly to capture and keep a dance floor.
This San Francisco native and Bangkok icon has been rocking dance floors on and off since his youth, at only 18 he was making mixtapes for the local break dancers and eventually many years later bought Technics turntables. These early days going to the first rave parties opened his mind to this new form of music, which he is proud and fortunate to be a part of. This is when he knew he wanted to be involved with Electronic music any way possible!
With over 15 yrs experience behind the booth filling venues from Cambodia to Jakarta, Singapore to Burma, Indonesia to South Korea, Bangladesh to Malaysia, the Maldives to Vietnam, crossing over to China, India and all over Thailand (Chang Mai, Koh Tao, Koh Samui, Phuket, Pattaya etc…) You could say being behind the DJ booth is where he feels most comfortable but always having one foot on the dance floor! Controlling and working the crowd with nothing but the freshest Tech House, Progressive, Electro and minimal techno beats. It all depends on what time and the crowd, starting off at 124 BPM and moving on up to 130 BPM, warming the crowd up with his smooth as butter mixing and programming and ending his sets with straight up party music aimed at dancefloor devastation. He has always been one step ahead always paying attention to the latest cutting edge house sounds and never copying other trends… instead creating them! This unique ability to discover and find what is going to be huge before it already is. This what sets him apart from all the other DJs that think that having a computer means you are a dj. He grew up playing vinyl since his youth, now he plays mostly CDs and now beginning to integrate it with Native Instruments Traktor Pro along with midi pad controllers for a more diverse and technical style. This is what makes a true DJ… knowing how to use any medium and adapting to any situation put in front of him.
His weekly Wednesday ‘Models night’ and Saturday ‘Big Saturdays’ at Bed Supperclub are some of the most talked about nights in Asia and abroad.
